Two years of living with roommates was disastrous; the confines of communal dorm life, soul depleting. It was beginning to become a problem. Nothing could have prepared me for the cataclysm of college life. I re-watch movies like “Old School” and “American Pie” and partially blame Hollywood for the optimistic attitude I had going into college.

Here you can find an informal gathering of fire dancers showing off their daring skills in front of a crowd of teenagers and young adults. Every Sunday and Thursday night as the sun goes down during warm summer nights, a group of dancers and drummers gather near the Platte River to express themselves artistically by juggling fire.
