September 01 — It was the summer before my third year of college, and I was a mess. Two years of living with roommates was disastrous; the confines of communal dorm life, soul depleting. It was beginning to become a problem. Nothing could have prepared me for the cataclysm of college life. I re-watch movies like “Old School” and “American Pie” and partially blame Hollywood for the optimistic attitude I had going into college.

Great atmosphere for hefty price

September 01 — There are many Middle Eastern restaurants that populate the University of Denver campus around Evans and University, but there are only a few options scattered around the rest of the city. One of these is the Shish Kabob Grill posted on the corner of Grant and Colfax. It is an old, but well-maintained eatery that is close to Auraria, the downtown business district and the bustling rows of bars on Colfax. However, no matter how central this restaurant is or how good their service, their menu is rather underwhelming.
