Folk trio goes ‘Survivorman’

Sims’ new solo record borrows from Bradbury

April 21 — Sims, one of the emcees in the Doomtree hip-hop collective, is putting the finishing touches on the follow-up to his 2006 debut “Lights Out Paris.” “The Veldt” — which takes its name from a Ray Bradbury short story — will be released later this year.
